Geoffrey Grant, a supervisor with All States Construction in Killingly, Connecticut, says his team has a variety of ways to stay safe while working outside in the summer heat.
“We take advantage of shade whenever possible, and we try not to overexert ourselves by working at a moderate pace,” Grant says.Everyone takes frequent water breaks and there are also plenty of electrolytes available, he says.
