Aerzen USA announces new company president
AERZEN has appointed Kristen Grunza as the president of Aerzen USA Corp. Grunza brings over 25 years’ experience in the industrial sector. Most recently, she was the vice president of commercial strategy for Johnson Controls and prior to that, the vice president of commercial operations and transformation at Building Solutions North America. Prior to joining Johnson Controls in 2021, Grunza spent two decades in various leadership roles with Xylem, Honeywell, Global Power and General Electric.

Aqua Membranes receives GWI award
Aqua Membranes was recognized by Global Water Intelligence as the Breakthrough Technology Company of the Year at the 2024 Global Water Awards. The company was selected for notable business growth combined with the positive impact its Printed Spacer Technology has on reverse osmosis treatment processes, including reduced energy consumption and fouling rates at installations from industrial wastewater treatment to desalination. The award was presented at the Global Water Summit on April 15 in London.

Aquarius Spectrum rebranding as AQS
Aquarius Spectrum launched its new visual identity as AQS. Following its acquisition by Aliaxis in 2022, AQS embraced a new strategic direction focused on enhancing water conservation and delivering leak management solutions to water utilities globally. With a focus on reducing brand complexity and aligning with future technology and market developments, AQS strives to expand its reach, eco-partnering with private companies and utilities dedicated to water preservation.

NETZSCH Pumps opens new plant in Brazil
NETZSCH Pumps and Systems opened its new NOTOS multi-screw pump plant in Pomerode, Santa Catarina, Brazil. Construction of the new factory in the Ribeirão Souto district began in August 2021 and was completed in less than three years. The new plant site comprises a 5,700-square-meter industrial building, a 1,800-square-meter administration building and plenty of parking spaces. The new plant will be used to produce and supply the global market with high-quality multi screw pumps specially designed for demanding applications. In addition, the new factory will expand production capacity for other product lines at the existing site in Pomerode.

Duperon receives Export Achievement Certificate
Duperon Corp. was awarded an Export Achievement Certificate from the U.S. Commercial Service, a division of the U.S. Department of Commerce. The certificate recognizes American companies that have begun exporting overseas or have expanded international sales with the assistance of the U.S. Commercial Service. Last year, Duperon reported a 363% year-over-year increase in international sales.

Anue names new channel partners
Anue Water Technologies added four new channel partners to better serve its municipal and industrial wastewater treatment customers. The new partners are: Rockwell Solutions for California and Nevada; Peterson & Matz for Illinois and Michigan; D.J. Gongol for Iowa and Nebraska; and ENV Treatment Systems for Ontario and the Canadian Maritime Provinces.
