A Perfect Grinder for Protecting Smaller Sludge Systems

The 10K inline Muffin Monster is the perfect fit for many smaller wastewater sludge processing systems. It harnesses over 45 years of sludge grinder experience from JWC Environmental into a compact yet powerful package that can fit the needs and budgets of smaller treatment works.

High flows in a small package means flexibility

The 10K Muffin Monster can easily handle flows up to 550 gpm depending of the solids content of the sludge. Due to its small size this little Monster can be squeezed into hard-to-access 4- or 6-inch sludge lines where no grinders have been used before. It is also an ideal option for protecting sewage pumps in office buildings, apartment complexes, resorts and retail centers where space is limited. Finally, this grinder can be mounted in any orientation giving designers full flexibility to squeeze in Monster protection where needed.

Small size, mighty power

Packed with power, this sludge grinder converts the 2 to 3 hp motor into a cutting force ready to keep sewage and sludge flowing through progressive cavity pumps, valves, centrifuges and heat exchangers. Two stacks of hardened steel cutters rotate slowly and with incredibly high torque to break down solids including rags, rocks, sticks and plastics. It will stand up to the tough conditions where other technologies like macerators or a sewage comminutor will fail.

Protect against wipes and rags

The 10K Inline Muffin Monster is also available with JWC’s Wipes Ready Technology. This includes special 17-tooth serrated cutters that will slice wipes in two directions and keep them from reweaving with hair and grease or reforming into ragballs within digesters.
