Endress+Hauser installs high-pressure test rig
Endress+Hauser installed a high-pressure test rig at its U.S. headquarters in Greenwood, Indiana. The rig allows for testing complete instrument assemblies to customer specifications, and provides a 100 percent test indicating a specific instrument can withstand the design process pressure up to 15,000 psi.

AWWA CEO David LaFrance joins Executive Council of NOAA’s NIDIS
The American Water Works Association announced that CEO David LaFrance has joined the Executive Council of the National Integrated Drought Information System for a five-year term. NIDIS is a multiagency partnership led by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration that provides information and tools to forecast, prepare for and mitigate the effects of drought.

Wisconsin Plant Wins Laboratory of Year
A small team of operators at the Rhinelander (Wisconsin) Wastewater Treatment Facility got recognition from the state’s Department of Natural Resources for its “excellent quality assurance program,” cleanliness and organization. It’s the first time the plant has won the award, and more than 200 labs across the state were eligible to win.
