Alan Hudson Becomes VTScada US Sales Manager 
Trihedral named Alan Hudson U.S. sales manager for VTScada software. He will be based in Trussville, Alabama. Hudson brings an extensive background in the monitoring and control industry with more than 25 years of experience with companies such as Revere Control Systems, Bristol Babcock, Control Microsystems and various key positions within Schneider Electric over the past 10 years.

“Though we’ve technically been competitors with some of his past employers, we have always had a professional relationship with Alan. We’ve so much respect for what he’s accomplished but also the integrity with which he approaches his work,” says Trihedral President Barry Baker. “It’s great to have him assisting our customers as they adopt game-changing technology.”

This announcement follows several years of sustained growth leading to an expanded sales team and a Western Canadian branch office in Calgary, Alberta.

GapVax Names Southeast Sales Rep
GapVax named Terry Brown Southeast sales rep. A native of Greenville, South Carolina, and former Navy veteran, he has a 25-year track record in operations, construction and business development of utility and gas markets with an extensive knowledge of the Southeast.

JWC Environmental Names Director of North American Municipal Sales 
JWC Environmental promoted Troy Heimerl to Director of North American Municipal Sales. This newly created position will let the company make further investments in serving its customers, while supporting the needs of its world-class partner network.

“Mr. Heimerl exhibits the industry passion and leadership that our business was based on, and he has been an encouraging and motivating mentor to his team during his tenure at JWC,” says Greg Guard, vice president of sales for JWC Environmental. “This role brings Troy’s passion to our partners and customers on a national scale, and gives our dedicated partner network a more streamlined channel for communication.”

Heimerl brings more than 20 years of wastewater industry experience to this role. Before becoming Midwest regional sales manager for JWC, he spent 10 years as a manufacturer’s representative for Quality Flow Systems, and another 10 years with Electric Pump, primarily covering the Minnesota and South Dakota municipal markets.

Wilo USA Releases 2016 Product Catalog 
Wilo USA, a provider of pumps and pump solutions for building services, water management and groundwater, released its new Wilo Product Catalog. The catalog showcases Wilo's entire line of products, including Wilo's broad portfolio of ECM products represented with important specification and data information.

This comprehensive catalog provides information necessary for system designers, engineers and maintenance personnel to choose the proper pump for their specific application. This data includes: pump curves, recommended applications, maximum head and flow, features and benefits, technical data and materials of construction.

Sherwin-Williams Seeks Award Applications 
Sherwin-Williams is seeking applications for its inaugural Impact Award. The award program will recognize application contractors, specifiers and owners for excellence on North American water and wastewater projects that have a compelling effect on the industry.

Recognized projects will include any water-related structure that is new, restored and/or rehabilitated and has been completed using coating and lining materials from Sherwin-Williams Protective & Marine Coatings from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2015.

“This award was created to recognize project excellence while highlighting the quality that Sherwin-Williams products provide for all structures within the water and wastewater market segment, as well as the impact those products have in their communities with regard to public safety, asset protection and life cycle improvement of infrastructure,” says Kevin Morris, water and wastewater market director, Sherwin-Williams Protective & Marine Coatings.

Applications for the inaugural award will be accepted May 1 through July 31 via the Sherwin-Williams Waterblog.
