The C factor of a pipe is the measurement of:

A) The smoothness of the interior of the pipe
B) The weight of the pipe
C) The length of the pipe
D) The amount of external pressure the pipe will withstand

Answer: The higher the C factor, the smoother the interior of the pipe is. The smoother the pipe, the more carrying capacity it has. It is also more energy efficient because the pumps and motors to not have to work as hard to move the water.  

So, the correct answer is A.
