GE Power & Water, Water & Process Technologies, introduced the Sievers M5310 portable TOC analyzer, which the company says provides readings twice as fast as previous models. Designed for both raw and finished water, the unit provides reliable automated measurements, enhancing operator productivity. It recovers difficult-to-oxidize organic compounds — such as humic acid — by combining UV/persulfate oxidation with Sievers Membrane Conductometric Detection Technology. The device calculates percent TOC removal for influent and effluent streams or samples. A dashboard-style touchscreen interface simplifies operation and data review.
