Redesigned medium-voltage (5-15 kV) circuit-breaker-type automatic transfer switches and bypass/isolation switches from Russelectric have a 20 to 50 percent smaller footprint than previous designs. The switches are UL tested, listed and labeled under UL 1008A and suitable for use in legally required alternate power systems. Switches can be configured for open- or closed-transition transfer.
