The National Biosolids Partnership will hold a webinar, "Charting the Future of Biosolids Management: Forum Findings on Trends and Drivers," on Wednesday, Jan. 26, from 2 to 3:30 pm Eastern time.
The webinar is a follow-up to the Future of Biosolids Management Forum held by the Partnership and the Water Environment Federation Dec. 1-2 in Old Town Alexandria, Va. The forum explored trends over the next three, five, and ten years for biosolids in:
* Technology, operations, and management
* Regulatory and public policy drivers
* Research needs
* Professional and training needs
A panel of nearly 50 biosolids experts from a broad spectrum of disciplines and locations received a background document that referenced past, current and future biosolids management activities.
The January webinar will bring together plant operators, utility managers, consulting engineering, equipment and process vendors, regulators, and academics interested in the forum’s findings about current and future trends in biosolids practices. Speakers are:
