The Water Environment Federation has redesigned the web site for WEFTEC, the organization’s annual technical conference and exhibition. The new site at www.weftec.org is designed to make it easy to create and plan a conference visit.
The web site provides information on all aspects of the event, including the technical program, workshops, seminars, facility tours, committee meetings, events, and the water quality exhibition. It also offers a clear navigation scheme and a robust search engine with an advanced search function.
In addition, a WEFTEC Personal Planner lets users create a conference schedule that can be printed, downloaded and saved as a Word/CSV file, or saved online in a personalized account that can be accessed and updated before and during the event.
Other updates include an interactive calendar, an improved WEFTEC Exhibitor Directory, a photo gallery from past WEFTEC conferences, and a home page slide show that highlights the reasons why water quality professionals attend: Education, Exhibition, Events, Exploration, and Networking.
