Rhode Island marks the fifth anniversary of epic flooding along the Pawtuxet River.

Today marks the fifth anniversary of serious flooding in Rhode Island, which some heralded as a 500-year flood. The flooding overwhelmed the Warwick and West Warwick treatment plants, which were both built on sections of a 100-year floodplain along the Pawtuxet River.
